Enter your home size, bathrooms and fixtures, then up to 3 written repipe quotes to see each one per bathroom, per fixture and per square foot. We do not publish repipe price ranges because we do not have verified Florida price data yet.

How the numbers are worked out

Each quote is divided by the numbers you entered: price per bathroom, per fixture and per square foot. A repipe is priced mostly by how many fixtures are re-fed and how hard the walls and attic are to reach, so per-fixture is usually the fairest comparison.

Before comparing, make sure each quote covers the same scope: pipe material (PEX or copper), whether drywall patching and paint are included, the permit, the water heater connection and the main shutoff.

Common questions

Does a whole-house repipe need a permit in Florida?

Replacing a home's water supply piping is plumbing work that generally needs a permit from your city or county building department, pulled by a licensed plumbing contractor. Ask each plumber to confirm the permit and final inspection are in the quote.

PEX or copper for a Florida repipe?

Both are approved by the plumbing code. Ask each plumber which they quote, why, and what warranty comes with the pipe and the labor, then compare quotes on the same material.

Why don't you show a typical repipe price?

We only publish numbers we can back with real data, and we do not yet have enough verified Florida repipe prices. Your written quotes, compared per fixture, are the reliable numbers.

Will my insurer care about my plumbing?

Many Florida insurers ask for a 4-point inspection on older homes, and plumbing is one of the four systems it covers. Keep the permit and the plumber's invoice for your insurer.
